The dorms at Whoo Bordeaux Bacalan are fantastic. Each bed has its own light and plug, and the curtains provide privacy. The bathrooms are well-equipped with hairdryers and soap dispensers, and the shower pressure is great. The terrace is also a wonderful feature. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
One drawback is that it can get a bit hot in the dorms. Additionally, the location is a bit far from the city center, but the tram stop is nearby and makes it easy to get around.

This hostel in Bordeaux exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was impressive. I loved the thoughtful additions such as the USB plugs, the individual curtains for each bed, and the conveniently placed light. These small touches made a big difference in terms of privacy and comfort. Secondly, the beds were unbelievably comfortable - better than some hotels I've stayed at! Finally, the location was fantastic. Situated in the newly constructed area of Bordeaux, it was close to the tram and within walking distance of the city center. All of this, combined with friendly staff and a great breakfast for only 7.50, made for a wonderful stay.
Everything was great - no improvements needed!

I loved the location of this hostel, it was really easy to get into the city centre, either by tram or by taking a long-ish walk. Also, the hotel facilities were great! There was a fitness room, an outside terrace, and even a space to work on the ground floor. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was impressive, everything was spotlessly clean.
Nothing for me.

Despite a few minor inconveniences, my Easter break was quite enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms, and the fact that the beds are equipped with lockers where one can leave their bags and other valuables without worrying about theft. the area where the hotel is located offers a great opportunity to get a taste of the local culture, with nearby attractions such as museums and historical landmarks just a short walk or ride away.
I was disappointed by the lack of adequate storage facilities for luggage. While the lockers in the room were spacious enough to fit large bags and other items, the storage room near the lobby was not properly monitored, which made me uneasy about leaving my belongings there.

The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of entertainment options. with the hotel's prime location in such a lively area of the city, this was not a significant downside.
